Normally my mood on Sundays during the football season typically goes on how the Hawks play. Call me a homer, but losses in general tend to really bother me.
Yesterday's loss stung, but for some reason I left the CLink with a weird feeling.. I almost felt like this is exactly what the team needed. The San Diego loss was one thing, the first road game, 115 degree heat, blah blah blah. I really think yesterday was a major gut check time, and that the guys will come out even more focused this week than we have seen all season.
Maybe its the fact that we might have played our worst overall game in two seasons and still had a chance to go ahead with 3 minutes to go. We played like utter crap on both sides of the ball and still had a chance. I guess my glass is half full today.
