Imagine that you are possibly one of the most talented individuals on the planet at something.

Now imagine that you have such a flaw that you can't even exhibit your potential. It is your fault, yes, but from the outside looking in it is incredibly sad.

What a waste .......

Good Luck Rex Ryan, on the upside for you..... maybe he has nice feet........

Brandon Marshall is a good example of someone with anger and mental issues who puts it out in the open and gets help. If Percy really is this big of an ass then he needs to take accountability for himself. No one's fault but his own.

Enjoy the NY media, Percy. You couldn't function in a player's environment and when those reporters smell blood they come to eat you up. I can't wait to watch it.

The first person that came to my mind was B Marshall. If, in fact, PH is bi-polar, he really should seek out the help he needs so that he could realize his full potential.

After watching the B Marshall story Im happy to root for him now. He's a fantastic player.

Meh, if Harvin wanted to actually do something about his 'problems' he would have done so by now. In the end he's a self entitled prima Donna who is used to being coddled and getting his own way. I hope he has a good balance of the season and the Hawks get the max trade value from him and after that he can rot as far as I care. He was treated well here and returned little.

Money is a strange thing, a lot of times it can create more problems then solutions. With the boat load of money given to Percy, it probably made things worse then better. It most likely put a major delay on any thoughts of getting things fixed.

Crazy how much money Harvin has now made in his career...and this is what he has done so far....in his 6 seasons in the league....honestly...not that impressive

3,452yards 20TD, 775 rushing yards, 5TD

Per games played it breaks down into

57 receiving yards, Receiving TD every 3 games, 13 rushing yards, Rushing TD every 12 games

Never be sad for this dude. He's a bad dude that fleeced our team into giving him a boat load on money for doing nothing.

Never feel sad for this millionaire jackass.

Come on, sad for Percy? Be sad for all the good dudes making peanuts who don't have one millionth of Percy's talent or money.
Sad for a selfish primadonna millionaire with astonishing gifts, yep, Percy's had it rough being adored and paid and having his assholery ignored alright.

Sounds like Percy is thrilled with the trade, though I think he is pretty good at putting on a good face when speaking with the media. He will be fine. He most likely will get to pick where he wants to go after this season. He should go to the Eagles or some high passing volume team.

Not sure what is going to make him settle down and finish out his career but no longer a Seahawks problem.

Clearly his motivation isnt winning if he is "thrilled" by leaving the Super Bowl champs to go play for the Jets.

Wonder why he wanted outta here so badly?

Thank you thank you thank you.

People act like Harvin was this amazing player that just couldn't be stopped. In actuality he is a very limited player who only puts up good numbers if he plays all 16 games, which he doesn't, nothing special.

The guy is fast, but he was soooooooooooooooooooo overrated. Ridiculously overrated.

Sub-par at running routes, below-average hands (on anything but LOS), limited options as a wr, pain in the ass as a teammate.

No one should ever feel bad for the POS

This could be the best thing or the worst thing to ever happen to Harvin.

The Jets will have zero incentive to keep Harvin if he fails to contribute in a meaningful way this year . . . that's what happens when you get traded and the dead money goes poof.

On the other hand, this is Harvin's chance to compete like hell for a team that is desperate for his contributions. He's going to have to play every game like it's his last if he wants to keep that contract-- getting cut or traded by the Jets would destroy his market value. It's going to be a fresh start for him, with as little security and leverage as he's ever had in his career.

Unfortunately he will probably be out of the league for attitude problems and lack of production before he can suffer a career-ending injury.

His days in the nfl are numbered.

The guy is fast, but his career yards per catch is the same as Wes Welker. He isn't good enough to know how to use his speed.

I don't because it's self inflicted apparently.
