I caught a glimpse of the Superbowl champs today... it is encouraging

I am encouraged too.

The Rams always beat us with trick plays. It is incredibly frustrating. They can't beat us in standard play so they resort to trickery to put themselves over the top. The frustrating part is that is actually works every single freaking time. No reason for them to change it, I guess.

But aside from that, I saw the Seahawks I've been waiting to see for weeks.

The team always starts slow with 10am starts. I'll let the first half slide a bit due to the fact that this was our 1st 10am game and it always affects them.

Once they got going, both the Offense and Defense played much better.

Especially the Offense. Looks like the offense is back. I think they can build on this. And for that, I am encouraged.

lol you thought the D looked like the Super Bowl champs today. You guys are smoking a lot of weed in Seattle I see.

Here is what we know:

We have a good QB. One that can derail defenses on his own.

In the NFL, the single biggest determining element in whether a team wins or loses is the QB. You can win with a poor defense, but you almost never can win consistently with a poor QB. So this team is going to be at least good for a while.

We have a decent, if somewhat unspectacular group of WRs.

We have a substandard pass defense. Primarily due to the lack of pass rush.

We have a great RB but we have very shaky OL.

We commit too many penalties.

We cannot depend on the referees to make the right call, so we cannot expect to win close games and pull it out at the end.

Atleast a much much much much better play than the Cowboys game.
