Agree except I think we take 1 of @KC, @CAR.
10-6, hopefully that's enough to get in

The defense will continue to be terrible and well see many more games like today from Wilson.

Well draft #17 and hopefully staying put there drafting BPA between TE, WR, OL. Hopefully eu do this the entire draft but knowing Pac and Aja's we'll go LB, HB, and CB.

I keep trying to imagine a likely 11-5 scenario, but there isn't one that I would even bet a nickel on.

We could be 5-1 right now, exactly as bad as we are, had a couple of things gone differently at the end of each game. Really a couple small things (3rd and 20 catch and fake punt), and we'd all be predicting 12-4 or better.

Tough to know, but based on the past 3 weeks (DC game was just as uneven as these last 2):

@ Carolina -- ?? L (Seems like a get right game for Carolina, but man their D is sucking bad)
vs Oakland -- W (Total chaos if Raiders win here)
vs NYG -- W (Less assured but no sense in going totally negative here)
@ Kansas City -- L (Tough home field and they showed today against Chargers that they can play with the better teams)
vs Arizona -- W (I guess)
@ San Francisco -- L (Cannot dispute this)
@ Philadelphia -- L (Could be a shoot out but the D is having problems)
vs San Francisco -- W (Hopefully)
@ Arizona -- L (Cardinals hot right now)
vs St. Louis -- W (Maybe we pull some ST trickeration on them )

Feels like 8-8. Damn I hope this turns out to be way too low on the victory total.

And we could easily be sitting here at 1-5 as well (the Denver and Washington wins weren't exactly statements).

there is not a shot in hell were winning at KC. Extremely tough environment for road teams, crafty vet QB, tough defensive front 7 has been kryptonite for the Hawks.

6 & 10. Lots of reasons why. For those posters suggesting RW is elite, hope your watching every game that has transpired. He isn't and he isn't worth the money his agent is going to ask for. For the posters that are totally blind to the questioning of reach draft picks....shut up. You don't know jack about the NFL. Hop back off the bandwagon. For the posters that complain about the people complaining about the officiating, very few people in live in your snow globe world and even that world doesn't operate on pure in put. The NFL is all about entertainment. That's a large envelope, but after watching Hawk football for forty + years it means that the money comes from the TV networks or NFL execs that decide what will be the best story lines to promote the drama for the networks. This isn't about the sport. It's about the networks and the billions that they offer to carry the sham.

Ask the Stealers fans how they now feel about the NFL. LOL, go back and visit niner threads about bad calls. For some reason the NFL thinks they can get away with this shit. Niner fans understand this BS, but are not going to give Hawks fans one iota of leeway as they feel it was against them last year. The NFL tries to dictate who is good and who wins the SB. No question in my 44 YO NFL watching mind.

The NFL LOVES teams that draft a QB #1 or 2 in the draft, they also LOVE teams that are in large media markets. It's all about the money. I am really getting to the point of saying screw the NFL. It is so obvious.

10-6, aced out of the playoffs because San Fran/AZ and Dallas/Phily will remain hot. We'll spend the offseason ruing this freakin' loss to the Rams. (Not to mention GB/Detroit).

I just don't see them going 8-2 over the next 10.

I hope I'm wrong.

You know what's amazing to think about.

We are playing like crap. Shooting ourselves in the foot and not executing plays.

But we have been in every game. None of our 3 losses have been absolute blow outs.

So if we almost win playing like crap. Imagine how many games we could win if we just play a decent or good game.

I think we'll get things figured out and the offense will start rolling.

The Defense is now what needs to work on its issues. A non existent pass rush and letting teams convert on 3rd and longs are big problems.
