I had the honor of attending the memorial service for Les and wanted to share some of the photos with all of you. I especially appreciated fellow .NET'ers and friends John (Hawkstorian), Will (Shadowhawk), and Chris & Wife (Kixkahn) for showing up to represent what he meant to this community.
John was asked to go up and speak, and he did a beautiful job of summarizing some wonderful thoughts and anecdotes. I followed up by sharing one of the thoughts from the RIP thread, and it seemed well received. Even Darlene started it all off by talking about what .NET meant to Les, and read a letter from one of our own that she received after his passing.
I know his family appreciated our community's support & love during this tough time, so I thank all of you for doing your small part.
Here's some photos of the event and display showing some of the items that meant so much to Les, including the items from all of you.
RIP Les, you'll never be forgotten.
