I have a question.

Are not NFL teams, teams?

So if a TEAM builds a good O-line, as a TEAM should - that makes their skill positions less worthy?

OR: it’s a TEAM game.

—-

Are Hawk fans saying something else?

It’s NOT a team game?

The OP is saying Gurleys success, and subsequent hype, is because of the team. That just about any nfl running back (and some fans) could rack up similar stats behind that line and with those schemes

Gurley is a fraud?
So you wouldn't do a Carson for Gurley trade, even up?

Gurley is one of the top RBs in the NFL. I don't care what team you put him on.

Could it be that Gurley is good AND his O-line is good?

See Todd Gurley 2016. He is breaking tackles in 2018 at the the rate of oldman Fitzgerald. FRAUD.

Gurley is having a great season. He's an awesome running back. The number of RBs I've seen be able to have monster success without excellent line play/complementary passing game is something I can probably count on one hand. If Gurley wins the MVP it isn't any different than Shaun Alexander getting it to me.

I think Gurley is getting the same benefits Alexander got behind that line.

11 carries 28 yards. MVP.
Still leads the NFL in total yards and TDs.

As the saying goes "even a broken clock is right twice a day".

I would not. Carson has to break an extreme amount of tackles to have the success he is having.

Gurley in Seattle's scheme would be pedestrian.

Well, at least we know you don't have an eye for talent.

Better than having an intellect that commonly succumbs to media hype and accumulative statistics with no regard to any possible caveats that may explain them.

A belief that hinges on caveats such as 'broken tackle %' and one bad game, is an opinion to concerned with contrarianism to form a cognizant point with respect to reality as it is. The idea that Gurley would be "pedestrian" in Seattle is laughable, he's one of the five best running back prospects of the decade, he was picked in the top 15 of the draft. The OP is obviously being hyperbolic and it's humorous and I can respect that fact. I just felt the need to point out the absurdity in it. :D

Also, perhaps it is best for you to spend less time worrying about what other intellects may succumb to and focus on presenting a tangible rebuttal. It's impossible for you to know where someone else's conclusion has come from and it presupposes that your position is the correct one. I'm all for debate on the merits of what is put forth so attack my opinion, not my intellect.

Gurley certainly is not a Fraud. But, The Paper Champ Rams are very much beatable. Put pressure on Goff and he chokes, period. Now GOFF is certainly a decent QB, but far from clutch.

Amen! Gurley had some HUGE holes to run through, and a high scoring offense that gets up on opponents and tries to run the clock out.

I won't call Gurley a fault, I would however say that Gurley couldn't break tackle like our Carson.
