Surprised we haven't heard anything by now. We know the Colts got tested, anyone else know the other teams "randomly chosen"?

Haven't heard a peep about it. This coming Monday should be week 5 of testing.

I guess Andrew Luck tested positive and now they're working out how they can cover it up. I'm betting they go with something like...

Andrew Luck has tested positive for a banned substance believed to be HGH, however initial tests suggest that it may have been in his system for some time and likely goes back to the game against Seattle last year where he drunk from Richard Sherman's water bottle. Although nobody actually saw this happen, we have it from Luck himself that this is what occurred. This is a pretty damning account against the troubled Sherman and should it turn out to be true (we have no reason to believe otherwise), he can expect a hefty ban

The process for announcing suspensions takes a long time, like 2 months, IIRC.

And HGH takes little time to clear the system, meaning any players who were using had time to stop and be just fine for announced testing.

It's either that or that because Luck is so great, his body must naturally produce HGH

If a lot of them are like this guy, they wouldn't have much time to be fine at all. Course this is the Giants were talking about...

http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2014 ... ng_it.html

The NFL began testing its players for Human Growth Hormone on Monday. Problem is not all of its players were aware.

Giants running back Rashad Jennings, about as thoughtful and articulate a player as you'll find in an NFL locker room, chuckled when asked if he was selected for the testing. Jennings had a Band Aid on his right forearm as if blood had just been drawn.

"Haha. Nah, we had a little Quest Diagnostics [blood test] that we had to catch up on," Jennings said with a big laugh.

"HGH," he chuckled.

When told that the question was serious, Jennings was taken aback. He was stunned when reporters informed him that the league had, in fact, begun testing.

"Is it?" he said. "They're testing for that now? Really?"

...

It goes to show how uninformed some of the league's players are on the drug-testing policy. Giants long snapper Zak DeOssie, just a few lockers down from Jennings, is the team's player rep. Linebacker Mark Herzlich and DeOssie are on the NFLPA's executive committee.

If Jennings doesn't know about the HGH testing, it's probably a safe guess that most players don't know. With that being the case, it will be interesting to see the results.
