Says he has resigned, not retired. Very interesting, if Dan Quinn leaves the Hawks.

Pittsburgh's defense hasn't been very good the last couple of years.

Your right, older players left on that defense is why. Think what he could do with the talent we have on D.

This is odd. Lebeau *is* the Steelers. A constant -- can't even think of him separate from Pittsburgh. Something's up; gotta wonder what. ..

No chance in hell. LeBeau is completely different fundamentally from Pete. He's a 3-4 zone blitz guy. Never happen.

But it is interesting he came out and make such a point about saying it's a resignation...

I kinda get the feeling that anyone interested in Bowles is more interested in Quinn and might be willing to wait.

Think it was implied on nfl.com that he was leaving, as older vets may be leaving (Troy Polamalu, etc). Kind of handing off to the next gen.

Replaced by Kieth Butler, played his entire 10 year career with the Seahawks.

My first thought was AZ. If the Steelers throw out toilet paper the Cardinals look it over to see any useful bits are left over.
