Gotta feel bad for the second year TE. Bostik should have never gone up for that ball. But it was right in front of him so he was trying to be the hero and muffed it. All he was suppose to do is block Chris Matthews. Jordy nelson was right behind bostik ready to catch the ball. No one even knows who bostik is until yesterday. And he will forever be remembered for muffing an onside kick that lost them the game. Plenty of blame to go around but this is the play that everyone will remember. Poor poor Bostik LOL.

He tried to make a play on the ball, like several of our guys did but muffed the catch. Difference is the rest of the team let him down after that. Like most things the blame game begins and Bostick is being scapegoated.

Green Bay fans need to look at things cumulatively there were many mistakes that lead to their team losing and Bostick's missed catch of a ball that was spinning oddly was just one mistake of many that lead to their sudden reversal of fate. For them they had many opportunities and all in all didn't convert most of them, the blame can be spread around many.

Something I noticed watching replays though is there was a lot of negative yelling going on on their team when something went wrong and that negativity eventually translated into a choke. They weren't ready to seize the moment and now those who don't appreciate the strengths of the other side are pointing fingers. That game had a lot of amazing plays that didn't go their way, they failed to convert many opportunities. Being negative about losing a close game ( or any negative play), and it was closer than the first 3 quarters showed, is not the way a winning program should work. It is more the psychology of losing and not championship ball.

Our guys never stopped believing in each other and didn't buy into negativity. I always feel sorry for the scapegoats but the blame can be spread around many many others.

Green Bay has a good team but they are not there yet in terms of championship teamwork. Our guys now need to work on starting faster however they finish just fine.

I feel sorry for him, but only in the respect he is taking the brunt of the blame for the loss when his mistake occured while the Packers were still winning. Bigger questions to be asked of their coaching, which cost them far more than Bostik imo. Untimely for sure, but it never should have come to that.

+1
Score TDs instead of FGs. Stop our punter from throwing a TD on you. Convert some first downs. It was a collective loss.

The guy is getting death threats. Man that sucks. He did make a mistake. HE made a judgement call and did not execute. He had a good shot a the ball. He coughed it up. Mistake yes but that did not lose the game. We still needed to get the ball to the end zone. There defense then made mistakes so we scored. One play never wins or loses a game. A game is 60 minutes of plays that can be won or lost along the way. This is just but one.

Packers defense gave up 14 straight points. Pick your teammate up, you entitled shirt-lifters.

The way things were going for Green Bay Bostik simply kept Jordie Nelson from muffing it. There was no guarantee Jordie Nelson wouldn't have mis-handled it either and then he is the scapegoat. Isn't the Special teams coach responsible for not coaching them up on this play AND the fake field goal? Lots of blame to go around.
