Just saw this. The guy has been a mess his whole life. But I think his ego will prevent him from making any real long lasting strides.
Did he go in as a PR move? Did the organization ask him to do it to keep his job? Did he maybe get a DUI and this is to make a move before it goes to court? Did he magically mature a little overnight and honestly set the ego aside? Lots of possibilities. I have a feeling it wasn't something that he thought of and decided to do on his own.
