Harry Douglas is a fringe #1WR for Hawks

The only good WR released recently is Douglas.

1000 yards. Decent TDs. He did great when a played the #1 spot . even with the falcons bad oline.

All the rest of the WRs released recently can't even beat out kearse.

So the list of #1WRs who beat double teams are...bad boy Dez,amazing Marshall,Vjackson.

Then the WRs who can pull doubles some times are Maclin,Torry the one trick pony.

Possible #1s are Douglas,Andre Holmes if he can get off the press ?

Am I missing any who yall know can succeed with 1000 yards & 8 TDs with hawks ?

Kind of your right. But he has proven to produce more than all of our WRs in games where he was the #1.

Watch film on him you will see what I mean

He is fringe if Marshall,Vjackson,Maclin,Torry are not avalible.

IMHO we don't need a true No 1 as much as we need the redzone target / move the chain even with 0 YAC. I thought that we should have tried to pick up Jerrico Cotchery.

So maybe not what you want to discuss here but that is where I hope the focus is. Sidney Rice always did that catch falling down that made a 1st down. It allowed us to run, run, pass and it worked.... That is the type of player we need. When we have that player the downfield gets opened up

Douglas sucks.

The sad part is he'd be our #2 receiver right now.

Douglas is alright, he had 85 catches in 2013 when Jones was gone for the year, so he can catch balls. But no, he doesn't get me very excited.
