Sean Weatherspoon to sign with Cardinals

Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon will reportedly sign a one-year deal with the Cardinals when the league year begins Tuesday, according to Yahoo Sports.

Weatherspoon missed the entire 2014 season with an Achilles injury. The deal is reportedly worth $4 million, according to FOXSports.com.

The guy is really talented, but injury prone. Obviously if he can keep from getting injured this season he will be a huge upgrade for us, in combination with Washington coming back our LB corps should be where they were two years ago. The huge issue last year besides injuries was that we really missed Washington who was by far our best LB. Not to mention he was the only one that had the lateral speed to contain Wilson as shown at the c-link when we won. This COULD be a really great move, and if it is true I will be really excited to welcome this upgrade.
