There is sure to be some interesting "news" in the next few days. Thought i'd put a few of the more confusing fake handles in one place. For entertainment purposes and fact checking:

The best way to tell (aside from taking 2 seconds to read the name)? Visit their twitter page and scroll down. If the tweets from the past month are batshit insane, you have yourself a fake.

I just look for the little blue circle with the check mark in it to know the identity is verified. But fake ones can be funny.

Accounts that are just there for the humor are great. The ones that tweet fake news in an attempt to trick people need total obliteration.
