Long time DE Brett Keisel was released by the Steelers today. He comes across as a guy who would want to play for a contender at this point in his career. Anyone know if he can play in the 4-3?

A 36 year old D-lineman that was only brought back last year because of injuries along their line. Is this REALLY a guy you want John Schneider to bring in?

Was he that bad? I know the entire Steelers defense was bad last year, but I thought he was one of the few good/solid cogs in the defense. I've always liked Keisel, don't know why. He can stop the run and get after the QB. How much he has left in the tank, I don't know. Seems like a Kevin Williams type of guy, would be a good addition on a one-year deal.

He's not all that bad but then he wasn't all that great to begin with. The only thing he has going is a long beard and hair. Quite mediocre.
