With JT no longer a possibility in fee agency, do the Hawks look at TE's via trade? Would a CMike + 4th for Martellus trade work? Is he a fit? Red zone threat? What are the other TE possibilities?

Trade a proven TE for a unknown RB and a 4th when they already have a stud in Forte and a draft deep in RB? If I was Chicago, I would decline.

Martellus would be a nice addition but they have no need for a RB, and know that Marshell is gone im sure the price tag on Bennett would be pretty step.

1) Martellus Bennett is a much superior player to Julius Thomas. He does considerably more than Thomas within the confines of an offense that does considerably less.

2) The Bears aren't trading Martellus Bennett. He's on a good deal, he's productive, and they just lost a receiving threat. Why in the world would they move Bennett?

3) Even if the Bears were trading Bennett, they absolutely wouldn't do so for the peanuts you're proposing.
