There are reliable sources that are saying the Seahawks will make offers for Julius Thomas and Andre Johnson. What do you guys think? Of course, any Seahawks fans will want these guys on our roster. However, if we pay these guys, will we have enough money for other positions (that I believe are a greater priority) like defensive line and cornerback?
The Patriots are allowing Browner to explore his trade value since he doesn't want to take a pay cut. If a trade is not made and Browner is unwilling to restructure his contract, they will eventually release him to make cap space to sign other players. Is Browner a player you would like to see the Seahawks land? I would think that the Seahawks will make an offer. If they were willing to offer Maxwell $7 million/year, I wouldn't be surprised if they offered Browner $5 million/year. Thoughts?
