Andy Dalton above Wilson, Newton, Stafford, Eli Manning, and even Kaepernick is a joke.

Brunell suffered a lot of concussions in his career didn't he? It's showing...

So he has Wilson at 17th? Okay.....

I'm not sure that they are in any particular order or if they are just grouped into two groups. I haven't seen a video or an article to give it proper context yet. Hoping someone may have seen the segment

The lists are in alphabetical order by first name.

Did you see the segment? Did they put them in any type of order or just leave ranked by tier?

I actually didn't. I am just making an observation from the screenshots.

It's still dumb to put that many qb's in the same tier. Russell Wilson doesn't belong on the same tier as most of those guys.

Mark Brunell is a big advocate for the pocket passer. I think that is reflected in his top tier list ..... as there are some very familiar pocket passers in that group.

"I got into the league in 1993 and didn't really feel comfortable as a pocket passer really until about 1997," Brunell told Cooley and Czaban. "It took me, now that's me, three to four years after years of running around in the passing game and looking for my first option and then taking off. I really didn't settle down until my third year in Jacksonville, but it does take time." - Mark Brunell

Not to play Devil's advocate as I think RW is still a top tier QB. He did regress from his 2013 season.

2014 was his worst year, but it wasn't because of regression. It was because he lost Tate and Rice.

And that is his fault? Wasnt half the OLINE out for half the year, the harvin situation, baldwin being our #1? Lynch hardly being used in the first quarter of half of some games? Miller playing only 3 games...offense was a mess last year.

I still could never put Romo in that top tier. I actually think the rest of his lists are pretty good. I don't think Daulton belongs on these lists either.

Ah, now I understand. He's classic old school, well everyone has a right to an opinion and always do. Much like another obvious thing....move along nothing to see here.

Harrison is hopelessly off base but the other two seem to actually watch the games their opinions look pretty legit.

I actually thought those lists were reasonable. To me Wilson is hovering outside the top five right now, but there isn't much separating him from the elite class. Now that Seattle has given him some weapons, lets see how he does.

I do sort of question whether or not Rodgers should be the consensus #1. Instinctually, it feels right. But how many top defenses has Rodgers dominated? He always seems to struggle mightily against Seattle, and the 49ers tend to give him some trouble. Last year the Lions gave him a rough time. So did Buffalo. The NFC North has been, by and large, a horrifically bad division for defense through most of Rodgers' prime. Rodgers does look like the best QB ever vs. an average defense, but he seems to lose more against an elite defense than someone like Big Ben, Tom Brady or Russell Wilson.
