I'm puzzled why Seattle wouldn't be interested in signing Barksdale for the league minimum + $350k signing bonus:

We could put him at RT and move Britt to guard too. Britt struggled in pass protection but excelled in run blocking. Moving him in seems logical.

I'm hoping we sign Blaylock AND Myers to low cost deals. I'd even consider giving Jake Long an incentive laden contract. He's still been good when he's healthy. It's the health part that has been the problem. Why aren't we adding some vets to give more competition?

Cable is always going to consider benefits of a players run blocking over pass protection. Britt isn't going anywhere for now.

Always ask yourself if an O-Lineman is a fit for the ZBS (I don't know either way for Barksdale). If that player isn't a fit they won't end up here.

I loved Barksdale at LSU. He's been a solid pro, but he's probably too finesse for Cable.
