I'm hearing Thomas also signed a similar deal only with slightly less guaranteed

Looks good on the surface for Jerruh's kids, matters on how contract is structured (how it effects their future cap) and how Dez conducts himself off and on the field. I wanted this drama to drag into the season, bummer!

So his garanteed money is 45 mil...signing bonus is 20 mil equals 65 mil so the only scare is 5mil for incentives? Or am I reading this wrong?

Signing bonus is counted as guaranteed money in most contracts so $45 million is guaranteed while $25 million is not (basically)

You also have to really dig down into these contracts for clauses, because often times, even guaranteed money becomes null if you get suspended or retire or other issues.
