Derek Loville, a former NFL player and current Scottsdale resident, was one of 22 defendants charged for their roles in what authorities are calling an international drug ring.
Loville, 47, was named in a federal grand-jury indictment that includes charges of racketeering, money laundering, illegal gambling and conspiracy to distribute narcotics, according to court documents unsealed Wednesday.
