They left out a very important thing. He threw the block that allowed Bart Starr to score that game winning TD on a QB sneak in the Ice Bowl.

I watched that game btw.

He used to live out yonder bout 10 miles from me. When I was working at the golf course and playing a lot after work, He stopped in and played our game as one of the 3 foursomes. Good man, respectable. A local Cowboy was trying to get him on the Celebritys league and it fell thru. That was about 20 years ago or so.
