I'm not a huge fan of signing oft-injured veteran players, but if he was placed in a similar role to Fred Jackson next year this might be a great fit for both him and the Hawks.

A lot has been tossed around with players on a one year "prove it" deal, and it seems as if he would fit that mold.

Thoughts?

No. Even in a Fred Jackson role. He's turned to glass.

You never know... People said Chris Johnson was done too.

He was. He left more yards on the field than anyone last year. That Arians was stupidly insistent on leaning on him didn't change how ineffective he was/ that Johnson should have been playing the whole time.

Arians has a bit of a 90's HC/manager, stubborn streak in him. Having witnessed that with Holmgren, Pinella, Karl its beautiful, confusing and enraging simultaneously.

Dallas should've signed Chris Johnson. He would've been dynamite there.
