Seems that the appeals court judges are seeing things a bit different than Richard Berman did.

Here are the PSI readings, in case anyone was curious. It is interesting how a lot of recent scientific findings have actually exonerated the Patriots, though for me I still have questions about the degree of variance in the measurements. Not to mention all the circumstantial evidence (Brady refusing to hand over phone and then destroying it, calling ball guy "the deflator", taking the footballs in the bathroom for 3 minutes, etc).

Yea, "scientific findings from MIT" are going to be suspect.

I've lived in Alaska all my life and PSI does go up or down depending on temperature, but it has to be a huge change. 40 above to -40. But from outdoors in a football game to indoors, not going to change anything. They should use Nitrogen. Temperature doesn't effect it at all. We use it on retractable aircraft skiis, and when you go from ground level to 12,000 feet in the winter, your going to have some serious temperature fluctuations.

Brady gave himself away with his press conference, and Kraft gave himself away when he started going after the "evil" NFL like a politician would go after someone who caught them red-handed.

The MIT professor seemed pretty convincing to me. Claimed to be an Eagles fan. There have been I think 3 other universities to back him up.

I think Brady is guilty as sin, but based on the MIT presentation I'm willing to accept that conditions played a bigger role than first thought.

This is all that needs to be said and all Goodell ever needed to justify his suspension:

"Anyone within 100 yards of this would have realized that the cellphone issue raised the stakes in this thing," said Judge Barring Parker. "An adjudicator looking at these facts, it seems to me, might conclude that the cellphone had incriminating information on it and that, in the teeth of an investigation, it was deliberately destroyed."

"So why couldn't the commissioner suspend Mr. Brady for that conduct alone?" Parker asked.

I was under the impression they are ruling on whether or not the NFL had the right to over see the appeal. They won't be making any judgements on whether or not Brady is guilty/innocent.

Correct. Such was the case with the first trial also, IIRC.
