They also put a 1st round tender on Case Keenum, which is hilarious.

LOL! They're panicking since they're losing Janoris and the other safety

That's just a hair off from pushing the Irvin comp pick into the 5th, which could still happen. (Although I don't think it will)

Interesting that this is mentioned here, but not Jenks to Giants.

Barron seems important to the Rams plans. I'd rather they over paid him than Jenks.

No one is going to take it.

And it's not nearly as crazy as some other QB things going on.....obviously.

Next year:

RGIII in Orange.

Kap still benched.

Osweiller and Bradford making bank for pretty much doing nothing. Ever.

Fitz at whomever wins him as a prize.

With all the reports about how RGIII is a malcontent to other team mates Kaep may be on the Broncos radar first, it appears that RGIII doesn't play well with other and coaches.

As to RGIII malcontent on the team - I SO agree. I am arguing w other Rams fans on this. I DO NOT WANT HIM as a Ram. I will be amused if he goes to Denver.

SF released a statement today that Kap is not up for trade, after the Denver interest. So, either that is a way to get more from Denver, or he's on the bench. Either is good.

---

For me, RGIII has issues on all sides of the triangle - with the team, with his father, and the sexting another woman issue with his wife. He may "program" himself to behave to get a new contract, but he will relax into diva, lazy, behavior. I'd be happy for Denver to have that.

It's crazy money. He's nowhere near ET

It's not crazy money compared to what those who left wanted. Other teams are paying Rams' players even crazier money.

Exactly. The Rams' secondary was pretty good. Yeah, they play behind a vicious pass rush, but they're still good. Losing McCloud and Jenkins is going to hurt them next year for sure. I don't care how dominant their DL is, with Lockett and Baldwin we should be able to get the ball out quick against them and negate some of that pass rush.

It's true that the secondary is less as we understand it now.

However, when this whole thing started last month and Jenks refused the Rams offer - my thought was: Rams are panicking IF they over pay him. They did not. I'm happy to see that.

Tagging Tru was letting Jenks go to the highest bidder who wants to over pay him.

I should also ask: how many of Jenks burned TDs belonged to the Hawks? He has a ton.

Barron is being signed to play LB, and last year he played better than Bruce Irvin did.

He will not be playing S for the Rams.

But this deal still seems like too much, and I would rather have paid $12 mil for Jenkins.

What McCleod got was insane.

I think there could be an element of addition by subtraction with losing Jenkins. He can be pretty good, and makes some nice plays on the ball when he gambles, but he has a tendency to get toasted in pretty embarrassing fashion.

IMO Tru is the superior player and could venture into top 10 cb territory.
