Ferguson's retirement is a shock to the Jets' fan base, but Breer reports it's something he's been considering for a while. He's kept the Jets in the loop throughout the process.

Could be that they wanted him to take a pay cut and pissed him off also, he has money and doesn't need the BS and can probably still actually walk away still walking.

I remember being so thrilled when we drafted Darryl Tapp because he gave Ferguson fits at the senior bowl. Good times.

Rumor has it Tapp once stood over him, pointed and yelled "I Tapp'd d'at D'ass" at the Jr Bowl. True bill peaches, you *mod edit*.
