Idea for Jerseys on 9/11

Like the MLB does on day to remember Jackie Robinson-

I think a great idea today would be to have....

Front-9
Back- 11

On all jerseys, by all players.

Obvious difficulty on this would be how do the refs call penalties.

Maybe pur their regular jersey numbers on helmets? still would be tricky. Any other ideas?

I dont think a wristband, or just a symbol on back of helmet is enough.

thoughts?

How about a 9/11 round button iron on. Sell the merchandise later for a fundraiser event.

Nice thought but NFL is the one sport where jersey numbers have to be unique.

MLB has giant flag on side of cap.
NFL? a sticker barely visible on helmet.

i Understand its a national tragedy ,but I think honoring the flag, is enough, as sad a day as it is, I don't want to be constantly reminded of it every year for every sport I watch.
