The Official Jeff Fisher Losingest Coach Ever Countdown

Going into this season, Jeff Fisher was 10 losses away from passing Dan Reeves as the losingest coach in NFL history. After last night's display, I think it's abundantly clear that only the Rams firing him will stop him reaching this milestone in 2016. So without further ado, the official Jeff Fisher countdown starts now! 9 losses from history!

Meanwhile... Chip Kelly will no doubt be celebrating being atop this particular list today...

You say that.... but Pete Caroll is 5-4 all time vs. Jeff Fisher, and 4-4 with the Hawks. Pretty even. And we all know this is the Rams' Super Bowl.

All that and he still has a winning record.

Mainly because he finished 13-3 with the Titans 3 times (2 of which he lost his first playoff game, and it would be 3 for 3 if it weren't for the Music City Miracle). He has only 6 winning seasons in 20 years as a head coach, but he managed to win 10 games in all of them.

Jeff Fisher only has a winning record because Steve McNair was so good at quarterbacking that even Fisher couldn't ruin him.

He's coached 30 fewer games that Reeves at this point, too. Go Jeff!

Sadly I'm guessing he doesn't get it til next year. Anyone know definitively if he has been extended by Kroenke yet? He's your man, Stan!

I still can't figure out how Norv Turner was a head coach for 15 seasons.

I still have faith Fisher will get there. And if his contract extension ever goes though, he'll definitely get there!

I picked the Rams to win against San Francisco.
I picked the Rams to lose against Seattle.
I picked the Rams to lose against Tampa Bay.
I picked the Rams to lose against Arizona.
I picked the Rams to win against Buffalo.

Look at the percentage. Belichick has a .666 win percentage (heh, fitting) while Fisher's is .521. Plus, Belichick has 55 more wins and 44 fewer losses.

Holmgren would have been right up there if he had coached as long as Fisher.

Well, per Fisher's presser yesterday, he thinks everything he is doing right now just exactly perfect. So, might hit this record sooner rather than later.
