Wonder if they'd consider Jimmy.. though, I love the idea of Jimmy here, but I'd love to see Thomas here probably even more.

I'd give them a bunch of picks.. I'm not sure of our draft prowess lately.

Fant is already at Sowell's level at this point, and that's by no means a compliment to Fant. I literally think there'd be no drop off if you plug a UDFA (with 30 snaps of competitive college football) at LT. How worrying is that?

Whilst Sowell can only improve at this point, there's been some frightening lapses and occasions where he's let free runners go through without laying a finger on them and I feel that Fant would have at least been able to slow them down.

All said I don't think we should get Thomas, we wouldn't know what to do with him. Check out Okung looking like an all-pro at Denver, it takes more than one guy to fix this O-line.

Really? We'd have to give up a high pick for him. Just from the last 2 drafts your talking about a Clark, Lockett, Ifedi or Reed caliber player(not bad for JS' draft prowess) for an old LT who may or may not be in the league in 3 years.
