Browns recover fumble, refs call Washington ball

Okay, I thought the Seahawks refs were bad today. This is a doozy!

The zebras had a real crappy day today. Hawks/Jets was horrific, and it looked like Crazy Uncle Jerruh called in a few "favors" at halftime of the *allas/Niners game, and then the Browns game. The officiating has gotten even worse this year, and Deano and Rog "got a little 'splainin' to do".

Reminds me of Oregon/Oklahoma a few years back. Same exact deal.

For the NFL to come out and defend that is completely stupid. Just sack up and admit your boys messed up.

When I started reading the article I thought surely it would get corrected on replay. The fact that it was left to stand is just crazy. And that the NFL would defend it afterwards is just bizarre.

The Browns would blow it anyway. So does it even matter?

Theres a joke in there somewhere about the female ref. But that's probably more Shack worthy...

Refs knew I picked Washington in the survivor contest.

The NFL actually stood by the decision, saying there was no definitive angle that revealed the Browns came away with the ball, something that NFL VP of officiating Dean Blandino reiterated Tuesday.

Pretty definitive angle showing Johnson losing the ball, recovering it and containing the possession. Don't know how the ref saw a Redskins player have the possession as she claims.
