Carson Palmer gimpy?

It appeared on Thursday that Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer was going to miss a second consecutive day of practice.

Arians said that Palmer took a scheduled day off on Wednesday. On the injury report, Palmer was listed with a hamstring injury.

Might be nothing.

He's hurt no doubt about it. He will play Sunday but won't be 100%. At his age and major injury history its not like he was going to leave the pocket much anyways but with Clark back this week I can see us causing Palmer fits by collapsing the pocket on him.

I remember hearing reports of how it was just a cramp after the game. Seems like a bit more than just a cramp.

They have too much riding on this game, I bet he plays.

Even BA is smart enough to know that if they drop this game, the playoffs are a loooooong shot.

Its a long shot anyways. It will take 10-6 to pull a WildCard spot this year. 9-7 isn't going to cut it. Arizona already having 3 losses in week 6 with 10 games to go I doubt they finish 7-3 with games like

I have Arizona finishing 9-7 at best even with a win this Sunday.

Palmer has learned to play like a statue 10 years ago.

He'll play, it's the Card's biggest game of the year.......he has to.

Will Palmer be effective is another story.

Palmer doesn't concern me anyway, healthy or not. Shut down Johnson and force Palmer into bad throws downfield, that should be the plan. He's not afraid to throw picks.

I'm really glad Clark will play and that Bennett is ok. Add Avril and Reed and their O-Line has it's hands full trying to keep Palmer alive.

He is really playing well, would not be a bit surprised. I think our pass rush has been the best in 3 years.

Bennett's a warrior, dude plays hurt effectively more than just about anyone in the league. Clark? Not so much, seems to need to be close to 100% for Pete to put him in, which worries me a little.

This Card's line and a gimpy Palmer is ripe for the picking, so hopefully these two can go AND be their usual effective selves.

Both Clark and Bennett were full practice Wed. and Thurs. We also could get Jefferson back this week.

Rumor is Iupati is back and if that is true he could help that running game.

Iupati's ankle isn't right, he has been limited in practice and is not 100%. That o-line has their hands full.
