Not true though...they prob would of just kicked to make it 13-13....They had to score a TD at the end to have a chance to win

Yep. They had a 4th and 4 that they had to go for because the FG wouldnt tie. If they were only down 3 they would hve kicked it, gave the Lions even more time to drive for a FG, and actually lost in regulation. So in reality mussing that EP in a way got them another chance to win.

It's amazing how slippery Golden is. I was always so impressed with how he could slide through defenders and get an extra few yards. Wish we could have kept him (captain hindsight) but he's really in a perfect offense for his skillset.

Not sure how that is possible with the Falcons sitting at 6 wins. We win this game tonight, and we're 1 game back (with the tie break) of the 2nd seed in the NFC. Still a 1st round bye.

Little late on this response, but the reason we moved past Atlanta with a win over Bufallo is because 5.5 wins (5 wins and 1 tie) out of 8 (.688) is better than 6 wins out of 9 (.667). Playoff seeding is done by win%, not total wins.

Our tie was very important for playoff seeding. If we had lost to the Cardinals, we would be tied with the 6-3 Giants at .667, instead we are at .722 and in full control of the 2nd seed.
