Walsh always seemed like a good kicker but that playoff game last year against us seem to have really, really broken him. Since that game he's been shaken up and just been flat out awful.

That being said, congratulations Seattle we broke a mans spirit.

Broke so many rookie kicking records with the Vikings, and now this.

Feel for the guy. 32 kickers in the league. he will be hard pressed to find another opportunity.

Perhaps he should take a year off, go to Tibet and channel his inner kicker.

That or become Batman, whichever happens first.

Jay Feeley missed 3 in one game (vs. the Hawks and I was there !!!!), he shouldn't feel bad.

This reminds me of Van der Jac (sp?). Remember him? He used to kick for the Colts and then shanked the kick that would have sent the Colts to the AFC championship (over the Steelers)? The man was never right since and soon left the league.

They gave him a lot of time to get it together. When it came down to the wire, a better kicker would have won them more games.

Is owed a courtesy tryout in the offseason by the Hawks.

Oh, he'll get another call without question, and I suspect a change of scenery will do wonders.
