Well, looks like the heavy rumors are that McVay (Skins OC) may be announced as the HC pretty soon, even today or tomorrow. This will make him the youngest HC coach ever (He's 30, turns 31 in a month or so).

Not sure what I think about this, especially since they haven't even interviewed Kyle S yet.

I like McVay a lot. If he is able to bring Wade Phillips over with him, the Rams are no longer going to be a joke in the division IMO.

Little surprised they didn't swing for the fences and give a Godfather offer to a big name guy though.

Yeah, the hope is he brings over Wade Phillips for DC - also to add some experience.

I have been wanting Kyle, but this is seeming like a decent selection IF the coordinators are good and more experienced.

I have some concerns that our GM Snead is doing the interviewing, as he could be on the line with someone who wants full personnel control. Not sure if that is affecting the selection or not. They haven't even interviewed Kyle yet, who may come wth Mike and may want more control.

Looks like probably no Kyle interview. Hope he doesn't go to the Niners and they take McDaniels.

NFL Network is saying Rams have announced McVay as new HC.

I haven't seen anything official yet, but guess it is over.

Not sure why you're laughing at this hire, McVay is really good.

I would have much rather them hire some retread than a soon to be 31 year old bright offensive minded coach.

Who cares?
Really, they have a lot of work to do. We have seen that coaches don't matter in some spots.

He looks so young!!! And kinda looks like our punter.

So, if the punter gets hurt, he can step in and take over??? LOL Have fun with the new Coach.

I really do hope the Rams start utilizing their resources better and bring in some talent on the organizational and coaching level.

I really do enjoy rivalries.

Seems like too little experience. It's a big job beyond Xs and Os.
