Super Bowl 2004-2005: Pats Win in White


Super Bowl 2005-2006: Steelers Win in White


Super Bowl 2006-2007: Colts Win in White


Super Bowl 2007-2008: Giants Win in White


Super Bowl 2008-2009: Steelers Win in White


Super Bowl 2009-2010: Saints Win in White


Super Bowl 2010-2011: Packers Win in Green, they are the exception


Super Bowl 2011-2012: Giants Win in White


Super Bowl 2012-2013: Ravens Win in White


Super Bowl 2013-2014: Seahawks Win in White


Super Bowl 2014-2015: Patriots Win in White


Super Bowl 2015-2016: Broncos Win in White


Super Bowl 2016-2017: Patriots Win in White

In this case, it's pretty obvious that correlation really DOES equal causation!

Why didn't we just wear white in the SB against the Steelers and Pats

Except in XLVIII, they were all close games.

The pattern established would mean that dark jersey wins next year and would be the AFC.

33 of the 51 Super Bowls have been won by the team wearing white.

You know I had never noticed that. That's something. And 33 out of 51? That is strange.

NFC wore dark the last three years. Does the "home" team get to chose?

White teams are usually the visitors and colored teams are usually the home teams. The home team has an option to wear white if they want to causing the visiting team to wear colored jerseys. On SB 49, we were the home team so we could've worn white instead of colored, on SB 40 pittsburgh was the home team but they opted to wear white instead. What a bummer.

It's just a coincidence. Look at the games and you'll usually see why the white team won.l, and it most often has more to do with the matchup.

White Uniforms Matter?... in the SuperBowl... unless green.

AFC team gets to pick next year. Atlanta was home this year and went with their home uniform, just like the Hawks did vs New England in 49.
