You can never have too many pass rushers. I wouldn't mind seeing him as a part of the rotation as we know it's important to keep guys fresh. Look what happened to Atlanta in the second half vs NE.

IDK, I have always been an advocate for bringing Williams here going all the way back to when he first signed with Buffalo but it looks like he might be done now. I mean he couldn't do anything on a D-line with Ndamukong Suh and Cameron Wake. I don't know how much he would really bring here.

No thanks I would rather the front office keep the position open for a young guy who is cheap and could develop more. Let's be honest Williams was keyword was great but doesn't seem to be an impact player he once was. Someone is going to overpay based on name alone and we can only hope that someone isn't the Seahawks.

Albert Haynesworth 2.0? Played until he was paid? No thanks.

I mean he was picked number 1 overall back in 2006 so he was paid from day 1. He even made 2 pro bowls and had a 1st team All Pro nod as a Bill and double digit sacks in each of his first 3 seasons there so it's not like he cashed out after his 2nd payday.

More likely that as a 10 year vet he's probably just not as good as he once was

I don't know much about him, but another possibility that comes to mind is he may be a player that never worked very hard on technique but instead, relied upon superior athletic traits. (Julian Peterson, anybody?)

I think you're likely right on Roland with what is going on. Williams play didn't take a nose dive after he got paid like Haynesworth but rather it seems he just doesn't have the athletic ability that he leaned on before to play how he used to without using good technique.

As a third down or 2nd and long pass rush specialist I think the would do very well in that roll. Like 8 sacks playing 45% of the snaps.
