Anybody else notice this? I don't know too much about him, other than he's a former 3rd round selection, and has started at FS.

Definitely seems that way. If we can get him cheap, that's improved depth.

Have no clue if this is good/bad. Seriously a FA safety visiting us? This draft is loaded on defense. So go get them and give your best shot to FA OL guys. Hopefully they might be actually decent and get Cable fired forever.

Doubt he signs. He can either be a starter with the bucs, or a backup here. Probably more money there.

I have to agree that there's a lot of interesting safety prospects in this draft...and players who could contribute right away through the first three rounds. That being said, after watching Terrell last year, having someone as a backup to Earl, who has moderate NFL experience, is an absolute necessity. Terrell has very little in terms of instincts.

Bradley Mcdougald from the Bucs really impressed me against us last year, don't know much about him but if we're looking for saftey help he might be a cheap option

McDougald may be solid depth, but I'm not sure his football IQ, or his speed fit what the FO would look for. He ran a 4.7 40 at the Combine years ago, however he's a converted WR, so he has some ball skills...but not the greatest tackler...probably why they're moving on from him.

Terrell is fast but he's terrible at best. Need a major upgrade - Hopefully they draft a safety or two. There are some good ones in draft and at this point, probably an upgrade over Terrell.
