Nope. Hasselbeck's level. Really good at times, that's about it.

I love Hasselbeck, so not knocking anyone. They just aren't HOF material.

Sidenote: Is Hasselbeck in the Ring Of Honor yet?

Is Eli Manning a HoFer? Because he has more passing yards, TD passes, a better starting record, and hasn't missed a start since his rookie season. Oh, yeah, and 2 super bowl rings. Compare that to glass boy.

It's funny because I don't think Eli is a HOFer either although he probably gets in with the 2 rings, name, and being in NY.

I wasn't intending to make a case for Eli, just saying that if you don’t think he's in, you shouldn't begin to consider Palmer.

There's a saying......

"if you have to think about it for awhile, the answer is probably no".

I'm not as big of a Hasselbeck fan as some, but even I would take Hass 6 days a week and twice on Sunday over Palmer.

I can't believe Palmer in the Hall is even being asked.

Okay, just actually clicked on the article and saw it has the caveat of "if he gets a ring". He's not getting a ring so it's a moot question, but at least there is an acknowledgement that he isn't HOF material as is.

The Hall is for players that were the BEST of their eras.

No way does Palmer get a sniff of the Hall.

Not even marginally.

Even Flacco has a better case for the HoF. Stats are comparable -- and even in Flacco's favor slightly by game average. Flacco has two less victories to his credit than Palmer despite having 50 fewer games. And their postseason success isn't even remotely comparable.
