Full Time Referees....

Heard this last week, and surprised we're not talking about it.

I've been thinking for a long time (years) that every NFL referee should be a full time referee.

At least this is a step in the right direction.

There was a thread on this back in spring when the competition committee brought it up. IIRC, most people were in a wait and see mode to see if it really changes anything at all.

I don't think for one minute that hiring 24 full timers with change much, if anything.

But I do think it's a step in the right direction.

As you kinda said, time will tell.
