"Different position" = If he's given the ball, he's MVP, he isn't bitter against Bevell/Pete and doesn't retire, come back and join Oakland. He would've finished in Seattle.

All I say about the last play is this. A pass play with that time on the clock was the right concept, BUT that particular play with that particular personnel group was not the right call.

Of course his first run as a Raider was classic Beastmode. Broke 2 tackles for a first down then half the defense tackled him down.

His heart was probably always in the game, just need a year off from running behind a Tom Cable o-line.
