Watching Denver at Buffalo. Near end of 1st qt. on kickoff to Buffalo, a Denver player (#34 Park) got into a shoving match at the end of the play. It ended with him hitting the Bills player in the face mask. He was flagged but not ejected. I thought after the week 1 explanation of Lane's ejection that any fighting resulting in hits to the head were ejections.

I don't believe that is accurate. The Lane ejection was ultimately deemed incorrect; the call in Buffalo today was correct.

Was it? Never heard an official explanation/apology from the NFL.
Maybe I missed it?

I think people are just extrapolating from the fact that Lane wasn't fined, which basically never happens after an ejection for punching somebody. I'm with you -- I don't remember any "official" word other than the lack of fine.
