Anyone else really enjoy listening to him. Last week he was on the broadcast for the Patriots-Saints game, this week the Bengals-Packers game. He talks with a lot of emotion and makes it fun, and on top of that he really knows the game.

Kudos to you Tony, you are a natural with the commentating.

I agree with this... He passes his knowledge of the game on and make it fun!

Great analyst/color guy, easily the second best to Gruden at this point. Needs to calm down the wound-up, persistently-borderline-yelling delivery, though. I only caught the end of the game and it was tiring after a few minutes IMO.

Not to Brent Musburger!

Musburger has been awful for so long though. I can't stand him

I get the feeling Romo would get really irritating when your team is losing.

He's better than Simms

He needs to ease off the random sound effects and trying to predict the play, but he brings great insight. I like how he can break down the play from a players perspective. At times he talks to fast, but I'd take a fast talking somewhat annoying guy who knows the game and brings something new to the table than most of the boring analysts out there.

I'm watching the Denver v. Oakland game now and listening to Romo.

I like his style. He's informative.

Got to listen to him today, and I can see what all the fuss is about. He's phenomenal and fun to listen to.

By far the best NFL announcer out there, AND we get to here him Thursday!

It took me a while to get used to his voice, but he's said things about the game that other announcers don't, and he predicted some plays correctly in advance. He's got energy. :2thumbs:

He has to clean up his delivery, but overall he puts up good numbers. I'll be curious to see if he keeps up the good performance or if he chokes when the playoffs arrive.
