It's like in a Greek tragedy, where the gods sadistically play with the subject to make him pay for excess hubris. Except in this case it's the whole ninners fan base. :2thumbs:

"Luckily" the gods pre-cursed us with bevel, to keep our hubris down to a manageable level...

Oh look another Seahawks are the reason comment.

Hate to burst your bubble but the hawks had nothing to do with the landslide to the basement for the Niners. It was 100% Harbaugh not playing nice and kissing ass to the GM and Ownership or what I like to call jack asses.

Good lord. That's worse than Ken Whisenhunt going 4-31 in his last 35 games as a head coach.

I agree pretty ugly stats lol. But we did have old porn stash and jelly (not Kelly) as coach.

Well, counting playoffs, the 49ers were 41-13-1 between 2011 and the 2014 NFCCG. Since then, they're 15-40, and have lost at least 3 more games than the year before every season (12-4, 8-8, 5-11, 2-14). Oh, yeah, and they haven't beaten Seattle since.

Lol what’s the bigger issue. Losing to the hawks over and over again or firing Harbaugh for Tomsucka and fat boy and having a child for an owner? And if you pick door B your a winner. What do you win? A BRAND NEW CAR. Lol.

Even Harbaugh went 8-8 in his last year.

Ya that poor guy did an amazing job that year for being stabbed in the back by management sadly.

But somehow people still think Kaepernick is a good QB??? That guy can run and was able to win with a fantastic defense! He put up decent stats last year but not in wins!! This team imploded!!

If Crabtree catches that 49ers most likely win that game. They go on to beat the Broncos and win a SB.

Do you think Harbaugh still gets fired if he wins a SB that year?

If they win that one I still think that by now he would have been fired or left.

He lasted with the 9ers as long as he has lasted anywhere, and halfway through his third season in Michigan -- really the only job that was ever considered to be potentially permanent for him -- there are already rumblings.

Oh, IDK about that. There would have been 25 seconds left and the Niners would have been up by one point, and we weren't out of timeouts. Neither here nor there though, really. :)

You mean like the last matchup prior to this game at the Stick when Wilson had about a minute something to go to get the team into field goal range and just threw a desperation pick. LOL.

Even considering the luck of Wilson in those 2 minute drives, it was unlikely. The 2013 defense finished teams unlike the late 2012 team that might have allowed Flacco and Co time to score a winning FG in the Super Bowl if it came down to it.

Looking at the way the game was officiated and the general breaks that went the Hawks way and the home field advantage, I resigned myself to the Hawks winning that game probably from the failure for the Niners to score a TD after the brilliant hall of fame level strip/sack on the opening play. That the 49ers had a lead for 3 quarters meant nothing.

I'm grateful it was even a game the way the last two Century Link games went down.

Didn't realize it was that bad down in Santa Clara.

Should be an exciting battle with the Browns for the rest of the season to see who gets the #1 pick in the draft.
