Man, I was just discovering this guy. Brutal, brutal, brutal. That makes me mad.

Watson is a class act and an up and coming star. This is really sad. Speedy recovery.

That really sucks...especially for it to be a non-contact play in a practice situation. I know it's not confirmed yet, so there's still hope that it's not as severe as they believe, but whether it is or not, I hope he recovers quickly. I like to watch talented players play the game. When guys like Watt and Luck or Avril or now Watson have season ending injuries like this, it takes a lot away from the game.

Ugh. Terrible. Texans can't catch a break with injuries.

Seems to be confirmed...

An MRI on the knee confirmed the full extent of the injury, Rapoport reported. He suffered the injury on a non-contact play, Rapoport added. He faces an 8-9 month rehabilitation and should be back in time for the start of the 2018 season.

This really bums me out. Dude is a baller and was just getting going.

Hate to see it, hope he comes back better than ever. Still early enough that he should make it back for the start of next season.

Terrible injury to one of the most exciting young players in the league. Can't believe the Texans' luck with injuries this year.

This is horrible. Hope the MRI doesn't confirm this. My son is a big Texan fan.

Well, that sucks. I was rather hoping he would kick some more ass this year against our rivals.

In all seriousness, you have to feel for the kid. Off to a great start like he was, and now into rehab. MIPS for the guy.

Man that blows. I hope it's not a sign of things to come for him; I was envisioning an epic Watson/Wilson SB showdown some day.

Absolutely terrible news, was a very talented player and seemed to be liked by everyone.
