Thats a shame.. damn, that hurts.

Foles is not that bad.. do not underestimate the power of the force.

Foles is one of the better backups in the entire league but with that being said, he's a backup. Major blow to the Eagles and they're pretty much screwed.

The top two teams in the NFC are being led by Nick Foles and Case Keenum. That's gotta be freaky for Rams fans.

Very.

On top of that, Rodney McCleod recovered the fumble that changed the game..

At least he took out the Rams first.

Crazy enough, he didn't. His last drive of the game they took the lead, but the Rams fired right back to go up 35-31.

Which is the painful part about this loss - the Rams had the lead with Wentz out in the 4th quarter, at home, and lost.

We had some game altering injuries too, but we choked that game, plain and simple.

Ironically enough, Wentz never should have gotten hurt.

With the Rams up 28-24, the Rams stopped the Eagles on 3rd and 9.

Then the refs called Trumaine Johnson for unsportsman like conduct....he and Alshon were just talking...

They don't call that, then the play never happens where Wentz tried to run it into the endzone.

Eagles have a good D and running game, something that can cover up Foles' limitations. That said, there are some really good offenses in the NFC this year and that may not be enough.

The key is Doug Pederson altering his game plan and relying more on the running game, which they have a very good one. Carson Wentz has passed the ball 41, 45, 36* in recent weeks. You can't do that with Foles. He shouldn't throw the ball more than 25 times a game.

*- Against the Bears, game was well in hand and they went to the run and brought Foles in.

Not sure Doug has that ability just like his protege, Andy Reid does not have that ability. Will be interesting. 41 pass attempts yesterday by Wentz when he exited late in the 3rd quarter.

He was on pace to have 50+ pass attempts. You CANNOT ask Foles to do that.

Knocking on wood, but it feels like destiny for Russ to leave this week's game, leading to a furious game-winning charge led by Austin Davis.

Dirty Rams players trying to hurt him had no bearing on the final outcome then?

I can't help but compare the Eagles to the Raiders from last year. Both on the right track, both had high powered offenses, both had solid defenses, both were cruising through the season with their young and talented quarterbacks, and now both lost said QB shortly before seasons end.

That's a good comp. The different is that Nick Foles can actually play in the league as he's proven in the past. Connor Cook cannot. With that being said, Foles is a MASSIVE downgrade and they are pretty much screwed.

Well, the Eagles clinched the division with a win, so the Cowboys' only hope is to win out and get a wild card. There will be at least one wildcard team from the NFCS. That leaves one spot, and the Falcons and Packers both have tie breakers over the Cowboys. Falcons win two games and the Cowboys are out. Packers win three games and the Cowboys are out. Preferably, the Seahawks beat the Cowboys and they are OUT.
