Athletes don't seem to take too well to pokes and jabs at their failures. Of course that is except for Peyton Manning. That guy can dish it out and take it.

Usually the hosts are pretty good. Conan was great in the past, but as funny as this guy is, he just didnt have the goods.

Normally, the players are good sports.

I find this kinda "roast" humor funny when it's some kinda entertainer who has made a career or being in the spotlight, maybe done some out of touch bone head things or decided to be in a crummy movie; It's less funny when you're just like, "HAHA remember when your team LOST haha oh hey remember that the browns are always bad hahaaha".
