Report: Browns Trading DT Danny Shelton to Pats

The Browns aren't done trading yet, completing four trades in less than 24 hours.

Cleveland's latest move is sending defensive tackle Danny Shelton to New England, ESPN's Field Yates and Adam Schefter. The Browns get a third-round pick in 2019 from the Patriots, while New England also gets a 2018 fifth-round pick from the Browns.

Isn't that almost an evenish swap in terms of draft picks? Is Shelton really that bad?

Shelton was really good in 2016, not sure about 2017.

The Browns have done the 3-4 to 4-3 to 3-4 to 4-3 defensive swap for about 5 seasons so their front seven guys are all over the place in terms of fit, Shelton was left over from the last 3-4 attempt. My line of thinking is always this If you are a GM and the Patriots are calling about a player you need to double check your evaluation of that player.
