I don't think we should, but Gronk is a beast of a run blocker so he would fit in. I don't think he'd be as useful as a receiver in our system, but with Schotty coming in, who knows? Injuries are the main concern. If people are worried about Earl becoming injury-prone, Gronk is on a whole other level.

In fairness, there is a new OC so that isn't necessarily the case. But I agree on the no part.

We didn't use Graham right and I doubt even with a new OC that we would use Gronk right either.

Lets see Gronk plays in the softest division in football and can't make it thru a season, move him to what is the division of defense I would bet he gets a quarter season before injury.

He knows how to use a tight end.

Gronk is already hinting wanting to retire soon..I want a guy with fire and passion to play.
Gronk had it for a several years but not anymore.No thanks...

True, but if we wanted a top tier catching tight end, we could have just kept Graham and not have to trade ET. This deal is pure fantasy. I'm definitely on the Pro side of Pete/John, but a move like this could easily change that.
