I still think highly of Delanie Walker. IMO ..... Walker is the tight end the Seahawks should have signed when he became a free agent a few years ago.

Oldie but goodie, glad to see they rewarded him. Physical player and a great receiver, as the numbers in Jville's post say. Had him in fantasy the past couple seasons... do remember some egregious drops on surefire TDs, but otherwise he's been the best thing going on the Titans' pass offense.

He's had the dropsies his entire career, but he's still fast, he can still get open, and he can still use his body. Also he's a decent blocker.

What is this? A Schrute family funeral?

Walker is a great player, we still miss him.

Harbaugh wanted to keep him but Baalke Bartokomous thought otherwise..... :rumble:

BTW, a bunch of us feel his loss accelerated the downward spiral for #7. That second run blocker/speedy TE was a huge asset for Harbaugh's system, and it would take a few years to realize the Niners had an even better TE combo than Gronk/Hernandez.

Here's to more success with Tennessee. :irishdrinkers:
