Dez and Earl wouldn't get along. One is a huge Cowboy fan, the other isn't.

Different player.

Dez is an "X" receiver, like Brandon Marshall. Doug is more of a slot or "Y" receiver. So not really ideal to have two big bodied slower wide receivers out in formation. Ideally you want a Baldwin type to replace Doug.

I do think we'll sign a veteran out there, but it won't be Dez. Not a good fit for what Doug means to the offense.

You're right, I thought he was one of the guys that got the settlement but he's still on IR so can't bring him back until after week 8.
