Apparently he drunkenly stumbled into somebody else's house. Interestingly, I had something similar happen to me over twenty years ago. I was home over Christmas Break and woke up to drunkenly rambling downstairs. I politely escorted the gentleman out the door, locked it, and went back to sleep. Chad Kelly wasn't so fortunate. In his incident, the man of the house beat him with vacuum cleaner pieces and then called the cops.

Cut by the Broncos.

He looked good in preseason; I'd take him over Hundley.

Seemed like he was really good at Ole Miss. That's what you get for being a basket case, I guess.

Spend the rest of the season in rehab and hope a team will pick you up in the off season.

Looks like he was a good college QB but has troubles...

QB - Chad Kelly - Mississippi SEC

Drafted By: Broncos

Round - 7 Pick - 35 Overall

"He had multiple blow-ups with coaches at Clemson, which led to his release from the program in April 2014"

"Ole Miss took a chance on Kelly, and stayed with him after an altercation with a restaurant bouncer in Buffalo where he threatened to "spray this place."

Sources Tell Us "He's okay. I think he could be a low-end NFL
starter. I just wouldn't want to put my name behind him because I think it will come back and bite you with on-field and off-field mistakes. We value leadership at quarterback and I don't trust his." -- AFC East scout

NFL Comparison Andy Dalton

Bottom Line He's hardly a scouting favorite based on reputation and inconsistency, but Kelly has attributes that could make him an eventual starter in the league if his personal and football character are kept in check. Kelly's competitive nature and willingness to challenge defenses will lead to some hot-and-cold moments, but there is some talent to work with there.

Yes, those two first round picks, one of which was the fourth overall in the draft, is the same thing as the guy taken with the last pick of the seventh round two years ago.

Those first two were part of the warning lights for a guy like Kelly, Kelly is very talented but got dismissed by Clemson I think and had issues at Ole Miss as well, trying to remember the schools off the top of my head. In days past talent overroad possible problems that teams thought the could fix, Jeff George had no police issues but would not be coached and was a problem for many initial years as well.

Kelly's hit the trifecta. He was dismissed from his high school team, his college team, and now his NFL team.

If only there was a Hall of Fame for screw ups, I'm sure he could get kicked out of that too.
